How to build muscle

Building muscle is simple, there is no secret other than mastering the basics. Once you have gone through your initial "newbie gains" you will need to get better at the basics to keep the results coming.

The basics are...

                 

Training

You need to be smart with your training, do too little and your muscles won't grow, do too much and all your energy is used just to repair yourself back to square one. Intensity, effort level, sets, and reps all need to be managed in a way that best suits your rate of progress and goals.​

               

NUTRITION

Consistency is the name of the game in the nutrition department, if the plan isn't working we know what you've done so we can adjust it easily. we need the correct total energy, protein, food quality and nutrient timing to put you in an optimal muscle building state.

 

               

Lifestyle

"You're only as good as your recovery" Sleep and stress management are very important in ensuring you are recovering from the training stress, as this is when you get stronger. Good habits that foster high quality sleep, and good stress management techniques are the key to maximising your results.

Accountability- we will track metrics to make sure you are progressing(weight lifted, photos, tape measure).

   

 EAT- learn my favourite muscle building recipes, to       keep that consistent nutrition coming in.

 Train- I will design a program for you and track every weight and rep lifted to make sure you are progressing with the right amount of training stress.

 Sleep- I will teach you habits for perfect sleep, so you wake up full of energy ready for your next workout.

 Repeat- doing the above consistently will overtime accumulate a lot of muscle.
